was one of the pioneers of recitation, distinguished in a distinguished and sad manner in his recitations. Sheikh Mohammed was born in the village of Buarik in the city of Manshah in Sohag province in the Arab Republic of Egypt. [1] He completed the Quran at the age of eight. He grew up in an ancient Qur'anic family. His father Sheikh Siddiq al-Menshawi taught him the art of reading the Holy Quran. His father, Sheikh Jalil Siddiq Al-Menshawi, put this beautiful old school in its own right, and we can call it Al-Manshawiya School. Sheikh Mohammed took his style and developed it to suit him. Sheikh Mohammed derived from this school much that was the reason for his success after his voice Alkhasha, and the title of Sheikh Mohammed Siddiq Al Menshawi "crying voice."
The imam of the preachers, the late Sheikh Mohammed Metwally Al-Shaarawi, said: "He and his four companions read; the others ride a boat and sail in the sea of the Holy Quran, and this boat will not stop sailing until God inherits the earth and the earth."
He earned his reputation and was well received for the sweetness of his voice and beauty and his monopoly on it, in addition to his proficiency of the reading centers, and his deep emotion meanings and Koranic words. Sheikh Al-Menshawi has a complete recording of the Holy Quran. He also has many recordings in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Kuwait, Syria and Libya. He also recorded a well-known Quranic khutma on Egyptian radio. He also has a joint reading of the periodical with readers Kamel Al-Bhatimi and Fouad Al-Arousi. Mohammed Siddiq al-Menshawi is one of the most famous readers in the Islamic world.
He married twice and had four children and two daughters. His second wife died five years earlier. In 1966, he contracted varicose veins, and despite his illness, he continued to read the Quran until he left the world on Friday, June 5, 1389 AH, corresponding to June 20, 1969.
An attempt to kill him with poison
The sheikh told some of his associates when some of the detractors tried to invite him to dinner after one of his nights. He recommended that the cook put poison in the food, but the cook told the sheikh and asked him not to reveal his secret.

I will not stop living in this house. I will ask him what he is doing." He said, "Someone recommended me to put poison in your food. Or eat of it, and I wake up my conscience and come to your warning because I can not not give it to you The owners of the evening recommended me to give it to you in honor of you, and they do not know what is in it, but so - and did not mention the name of the Sheikh - gave me a sum of money to pay you poison in this dish without the knowledge of the owners of the evening I did not please reveal this expose me ... And when the dish was placed The Shaykh, who was soaked in the poison, was known by the Shaykh as the cook described it. The Shaykh claimed some fatigue before them, but they swore to him and he took a piece of bread that was in front of him.

He refused to read in front of Nasser
The invitation was addressed to him by one of the ministers, saying to him: You will have the great honor of attending a ceremony attended by President Abdel Nasser, surprised by Sheikh Mohammed Siddiq, saying: (Why does not this honor to Abdel Nasser himself to listen to the Koran voice Mohammed Siddiq Menshawi?), (Nasser was wrong when he sent me the worst messengers).
